ADP, Inc. is seeking a Post Bake Operator in Indiana for the production line. Responsibilities include operating bakery machinery, packaging product, monitoring quality, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and recording batch information.

You will follow GMPs, food safety policies, and complete required safety courses in English to ensure accurate processing. We offer morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, plus overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must pass Food Safety and Safety courses in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers with decimals.
  • Read and follow work instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Work independently with self-management.
  • Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings.
  • Adhere to GMPs and sanitation procedures.
  • Complete required Alchemy courses throughout the year.
  • Execute the daily production schedule and process orders in sequence.
  • Ensure correct packaging materials and accurate packaging information.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and proper equipment setup.
  • Record batch details, materials used, deviations, and processing parameters.
  • Monitor automated equipment to verify proper function.

Purpose:

Post Bake Operators are responsible for the ongoing production of the industrial baking machinery and support areas they are assigned to on a day-to-day basis; wrappers/baggers and seal out.

Post Bake Operators are responsible for the packaging of product into the various types of containers to be distributed to our customers that is not only safe to eat but meets all customer and internal specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings
  • Participation and adherence to all food safety and safety programs
  • Completion of assigned Alchemy courses that are required throughout the year
  • Execute the daily production schedule and process orders in the established sequence
  • Ensure that all product is packaged in the correct packaging material
  • Ensure that all packaging information is correct
  • Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Ensure that packages meet weight and count requirements
  • Ensure that equipment is running properly and at its most effective set up
  • Accurately and legibly maintain records of batches made, materials used, deviations, and other processing parameters
  • Monitor automated equipment to verify it is functioning properly
