Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Linepacker to package products on the post-bake line, ensure proper packaging, and maintain clean, safe work areas. The role may involve moving to different locations on the post bake side and may include seal-out duties.

Responsibilities include attending pre-shift meetings, adhering to GMPs and safety programs, and completing required safety courses. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must understand and follow direction and pass all Food Safety and Safety courses in English.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers with decimals.
  • Ability to read computer screens and enter data.
  • Read and follow work instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Work independently with self-management.

  • Ensure that all product is packaged in the correct packaging
  • Ensure that all packaging information is correct
  • Assist with changing over equipment when changing product
  • Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Monitor automated equipment to verify it is functioning properly and report any issues
  • Effectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees
  • Immediately report any food safety and quality problems to Management
  • Welcome new team members and train as assigned
  • Assist other areas of production as needed
  • Ensure area is prepared and cleaned for the next shift

Purpose:

The Line Packer is responsible for the packaging of product into the various types of containers to be distributed to our customers that is not only safe to eat but meets all customer and internal specifications. The incumbent should understand how all production line packing processes operate and is able to move to all locations on the post bake side and be effective and productive in the Line Packer function. The incumbent may be assigned to seal-out duties on the line.

Job Responsibilities:

  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM
  • Overtime and weekends may be required
