Job summary

Whole Foods Market Tucson is seeking entry-level Team Members for the Seafood Department to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will greet customers, maintain clean displays, assist with sampling, and ensure accurate signage while following safety standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, proactive service, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; prior retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn knowledge of all products in the department.
• Ability to visually inspect products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes with products.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations with vendors and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays; keeps cases and shelves stocked and clean.
• Maintains accurate signage and pricing.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps areas full and neat.
• Cleans cases, signs, uprights, coolers, floors and drains as required.
• Skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish; labels and dates cooked fish.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
