Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to proactively sell while maintaining product quality and freshness.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Ability to visually inspect products for quality and freshness.
• Ability to read labels and familiarize with products; follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked, and well-organized.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Support with sampling program and ensure sample areas are clean.
• Prepare and cook/smoke fish per procedures; label and date cooked fish.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs promptly.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety regulations; maintain clean environment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; manage signage accuracy.
• Report safety hazards or violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
