You will help maintain displays, assist customers, and follow health and safety procedures while upholding WFM standards and policies. • Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers, vendors, and Team Members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency
• Understanding of and compliance with quality goals at WFM

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing display by checking quality and rotating stock
• Keep cases, shelves, and back stock clean and well stocked
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing
• Assist with sampling program and keep areas clean
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and other fixtures
• Prepare and process fish (skinning, boning, cooking/smoking)
• Assist with periodic inventory checks
• Arrive on time and attend trainings
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and equipment
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties
• Report safety hazards and violations
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
