Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Chicago's seafood team is seeking a team member to assist counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist with sampling, and support inventory and safety procedures while delivering courteous service to customers and teammates.

The role requires physical stamina, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and adherence to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand 6–8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Comply with health, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Awareness of product quality and freshness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays and stock levels.
• Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
• Assists with sampling programs and keeps areas clean.
• Performs cleaning of cases, signs, coolers, floors and drains.
• Skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish when required.
• Supports inventory checks and closing/opening duties.
• Delivers courteous customer service and supports team goals.
• Complies with Weights & Measures and sanitation rules.
• Reports safety hazards and follows procedures.
