Job summary

Hy-Vee in Kansas City is seeking a Seafood Service Clerk to join the Seafood Department. You will provide prompt, friendly customer service, assist with wrapping, weighing, labeling, and stocking seafood items, and help maintain department standards.

You'll learn to greet customers, learn names when possible, work with teammates to ensure satisfaction, and handle sanitation, cleanliness, and stock rotation while following store guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety training required.
• Six months related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Greet customers and address them by name when possible.
• Wrap, weigh, and label product.
• Review freshness and rotate stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
