Job summary

Responsibilities

• Convert raw materials into frozen packaged finished materials using processing equipment.
• Label and move totes of product around the plant.
• Inspect product throughout the process removing defects to meet quality guidelines.
• Handle raw and finished seafood product packages.
• Perform cleaning tasks including spraying, scrubbing, wiping walls, mopping, sweeping and trash removal.
• Follow attendance policy of the department.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Job Responsibilities

• Convert raw materials into frozen packaged finished materials using Laitram seafood processing equipment
• Label and move totes of product around the plant
• Inspect product throughout the process removing defects to meet established quality guidelines
• Handling raw and finished seafood product packages
• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including but not limited to spraying and scrubbing of process equipment, wiping down of walls, mopping, sweeping and trash collection and removal
• Follow the attendance policy of the department
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent seafood processing experience
• Able to work shifts starting at 5am
