Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Factory Technician to repair, adjust and maintain seafood processing machinery in our Alaska shore plant. You will work on pumps, conveyors, and related equipment to ensure continuous production and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience or training, and HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain it within a year. The role requires physically demanding work in a rugged, loud environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position or equivalent technical training.
• HAZWOPER certification is required or must be obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and repairs machinery and equipment in a shore plant production facility.
• Identifies problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision instruments.
• Performs preventive maintenance to meet production goals and safety standards.
• Keeps work area safe and clean in compliance with procedures and regulations.
