Responsibilities

• Provide customer service as defined by the employer within the scope of the position and policy.
• Train, schedule, and supervise seafood clerks to ensure optimum staffing patterns in the department.
• Speak with customers to resolve problems related to the seafood operation.
• Follow division guidelines for merchandising program implementation.
• Operate electronic scales to record weight of packaged items.
• Apply price tags to wrapped items.
• Source items from case for customers on request.
• Maintain cleanliness of seafood area and display.
• Replenish stock in seafood displays; remove expired items daily.
• Perform daily inventory and order product and supplies as needed.
• Monitor inter-office communications for updates.
• Create signs for department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
