The Seafood Lead will manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and supervision of 1–2 employees, while maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety standards. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: High School Diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience.
• Language skills: read and interpret safety rules, write routine reports, and speak to customers and employees.
• Mathematical skills: calculate discounts, percentages and amounts.
• Reasoning ability: solve practical problems and follow varied written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve goals for department in sales and gross profit.
• Maintain supply control, payroll expenses and inventory controls.
• Follow through on correct accounting procedures: invoices, transfers, inventories, etc.
• Responsible for ordering sufficient quantities and correct pricing.
• Ensure quality and freshness of product with proper rotation and temperature maintenance.
• Direct stocking, display and rotation of seafood to attract customers.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Seafood Specialist on merchandising, planning and scheduling.
