Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Florida seeks a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. You will help maintain displays, pricing, and back stock while delivering courteous service to customers and teammates.

The role emphasizes compliance with health regulations, quality control, and collaboration with team members to meet store programs and initiatives. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively and provide courteous service.
• Learn basic knowledge of all products in department.
• visually inspect products for quality and freshness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; keep cases and shelves stocked.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Maintain back stock and clean, safe areas.
• Assist with sampling and keep areas full and tidy.
• Operate and clean cases, signs, and equipment as required.
• Prepare fish (skin, bone, cook or smoke) and label accordingly.
• Report safety hazards and follow Weights & Measures and sanitation rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Support inventory checks as needed.
