Job summary

El Super in Covina is seeking a Fish Clerk to support our seafood department. This fast-paced grocery setting requires friendly customer service and the ability to lift heavy items as part of daily duties.

Under supervision of the Meat Manager, you will maintain seafood displays, assist customers, and ensure clean and rotated displays. Physical effort includes lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Follow detailed instructions.
• Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and set up, maintain, and clean seafood display cases.
• Clean, fill and rotate seafood displays.
• Lift up to 50–60 lbs, stand and move for extended periods.
