Job summary

El Super in Fresno is seeking a Seafood Clerk to join our Blackstone store team. You’ll provide friendly customer service, help set up and maintain seafood displays, and support a fast-paced grocery environment.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read and write simple instructions, and have or obtain a Food Handler Card. Starting rate is $16.50 per hour. We offer benefits such as a 401(k) Retirement Plan, Continuing Education Benefits, and more.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous customer service.
• Assists customers and sets up, maintains and cleans seafood display cases.
• Cleans, fills and rotates seafood displays.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
