Job summary

El Super is seeking a Seafood Clerk at our Las Vegas store (#66) on East Tropicana Ave. The role centers on friendly customer service, seafood display setup, rotation, and cleanliness, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position operates in a fast-paced grocery environment and supports community needs.

Starting rate is $14.50 per hour, with typical shifts in a retail setting. Join our Store Operations Team as we serve diverse customers and provide quality seafood selections daily.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
• Assists the customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases.
• Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged period of times.
