VIP Hospitality LLC seeks a Divesture Agent – STAC at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to support security checkpoint operations and assist passengers through TSA screening, ensuring smooth divesting and efficient throughput. You will communicate clearly, follow TSA procedures, and help manage busy lanes with attention to detail.

The role requires early morning availability for 4:45AM–1:10PM shifts on weekends and holidays, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service in high-volume airport settings.
• Ability to stand 8–10 hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass background check and obtain Airport Security Badge.

Responsibilities

• Control passenger flow into divesting areas to maintain lane throughput.
• Provide standardized TSA divesting instructions based on lane type.
• Direct passengers requiring additional assistance without disrupting flow.
• Coordinate with TSA and lane staff to adjust passenger pacing in real time.
• Monitor and address bottlenecks at divesting tables and X-ray entry points.
• Keep awareness across multiple lanes and shift support based on demand.
• Manage bin and property flow to prevent congestion and delays.
• Deliver clear, audible instructions in a high-noise environment.
• Provide direction for specialty items (medical devices, CPAPs, strollers) per TSA procedures.

Divesture Agent – STAC
Location: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Reports To: Operations Manager

This position will specifically require you to be available for the AM shift.

Hours: 4:45AM - 1:10PM (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)

Position Summary

The Divesture Agent supports security checkpoint operations by preparing passengers for screening and ensuring an efficient divesting process. This role focuses on clear passenger communication, adherence to TSA procedures, and maintaining throughput at high-volume checkpoints. The position requires consistent floor presence, attention to detail, and the ability to guide travelers through required screening preparations to minimize delays and re-screening. The expected end date of this contract is October 1, 2026, though it may be extended based on your attendance
and performance.

• Deliver clear, audible instructions in a high-noise, high-traffic environment.
• Provide direction for specialty items (medical devices, CPAPs, strollers) in accordance with TSA handling procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to deliver clear instructions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and procedural compliance.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods (8–10 hour shifts).
• Ability to work in a dynamic airport security environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain/maintain an Airport Security Badge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in airport operations, security, or customer service.
• Multilingual or ASL proficiency preferred.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $22.00 / Part-Time
