GAMARC Consulting is seeking a Logistics and Import/Export Specialist to oversee international shipments, focusing on import operations and sea freight. The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in Import & Logistics, strong knowledge of Incoterms, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Import & Logistics.
• Sea Freight experience is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of international trade laws, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods domestically and internationally.
• Select transportation methods to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance processes.
• Stay up-to-date on import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance.
• Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or shipment discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
