Job summary

Barry University is seeking Student A.V. Clerks to ensure audio/visual equipment is prepared for instructors in the School of Podiatric Medicine. You will prepare gear before lectures, tidy up after class, and secure equipment at the teaching site.

You will report damages and coordinate repairs with DOIT and the Director of Operations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in any field, enrollment in the School of Podiatric Medicine with a 3.0 GPA, and basic laptop and AV operation skills.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in any field of study is required.
  • Must be enrolled in the School of Podiatric Medicine and maintain a GPA of 3.0.
  • Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to use them in varied situations.
  • Ability to make logistical decisions and solve problems.
  • Must have good time and project management skills.
  • Must have basic laptop operating ability.
  • Ability to complete basic paperwork.
  • Ability to operate basic audio/visual equipment.

Job description

Student A.V. Clerks are responsible for ensuring the preparedness of the audio/visual equipment for all instructors teaching classes for the School of Podiatric Medicine. Duties include taking care of audio/visual equipment present in, but not limited to, regular classrooms used for all cohorts in the DPM program.
