University of Richmond's Modlin Center seeks a Concessions Associate to manage the sales area, sell merchandise and concessions before, during, and after performances, and coordinate with artists' representatives. You will set up the concessions, track inventory, and settle sales reports with staff.
This part-time, on-site role requires independence, strong customer service, and a flexible schedule, including daytime and evening/weekend hours.
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Modlin Concessions Associate is to manage the sales area, sell merchandise items or concessions to patrons before performances, at intermission, and at the end of performances in the Modlin Center venues. The Concessions Associate is responsible for setting up the concessions area and materials, taking inventory of merchandise before and after each event, and packing up merchandise at the end of a performance. They must communicate with the artist’s sales representative to obtain the items being sold, pricing information, and any other pertinent information. The Concessions Associate must be able to keep track of items sold whether at the concessions area or merchandise area and settling the sales report with the artist and the Modlin Center. The Concessions Associate must be able to work independently, with little to no supervision, handle sales transactions, and provide excellent customer service to patrons.

Pay Grade: SP Student 3, starting at $14.45
