Job summary

CHOC Children's in Orange, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our new Special Delivery Unit (SDU) launching Fall 2026. The SDU will include triage, LDRPs and ORs, delivering cutting-edge fetal intervention and neonatal care within a family-centered team.

The RN will provide antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, support patient flow, and collaborate with specialists to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• California RN license is required for employment.
• BSN preferred or BSN currently pursued with approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods.
• Assist in operating room and delivery room within scope of practice.
• Support patient flow and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
