Sheetz is seeking an HR professional to provide direct support to SDS HR Business Partner, SDS Department Managers, SDS Department Leads and employees in all aspects of human resources, including policy interpretation and program administration in compliance with federal, state and local guidelines and company policies.
Responsibilities include investigations, talent acquisition guidance, training delivery, data analysis, leave coordination and policy development to ensure compliant, robust HR
This onsite role requires working until 8:00 PM two days per week to support second-shift operations. The remaining three workdays follow standard business hours.
Provide direct support to the SDS HR Business Partner, SDS Department Managers, SDS Department Leads and employees in all aspects of human resources, including, but not limited to, employee relations and culture. Provide guidance to managers, leads and employees through interpreting policies and administering procedures in compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines and company policies.
1. Respond to SDS Department Managers and SDS Department Leads, employees and applicants regarding a broad range of human resources and employee relations issues on a daily basis.
2. Coordinate and conduct Employee Relations investigations in conjunction with SDS Management, including approving disciplinary action up to and including termination in accordance with company policy.
3. Manage the Talent Acquisition process and provide recommendations to enhance recruitment program.
4. Serve as a trainer/presenter at various company orientations, trainings and events.
5. Collect, analyze and present data related to human resources and special projects.
6. Coordinate employee medical and workers' compensation leave, including the light duty accommodation process.
7. Assist with the development, alignment and implementation of company policies, procedures and programs.
8. Facilitate and coordinate special events for SDS including, but not limited to, employee events, Sheetz For the Kids and employee recognition events.
