Job summary

Pace Analytical Life Sciences in Minnesota is seeking an SDS author to transform data for the safe transport of materials both domestically and internationally. You’ll prepare Safety Data Sheets and related documentation, supporting accurate data management and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 3+ years SDS authoring and chemical regulatory experience, and experience with 3E Generate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience, required
• 3+ years of SDS authoring experience, required
• SDS Authoring experience using 3E Generate (US, EU, GB) requirements (with labels)
• Some substance-level data cleansing and data quality work
• Strong understanding of global SDS/regulatory requirements and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
• Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
• Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
• Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.
• Works in computer applications and systems related to the work: Excel Teams 3E Generate Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
• Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

Compensation: $25.00 - 29.00 per hour

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience, required
• 3+ years of SDS authoring experience, required
• SDS Authoring experience using 3E Generate Experience authoring SDSs for U.S., EU, and Great Britain (GB) requirements (with labels)
• Some substance-level data cleansing and data quality work
• Strong understanding of global SDS/regulatory requirements and attention to detail
