Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in New York seeks an SDS author to transform data for the safe transport of materials domestically and internationally. You’ll receive extensive training and grow a laboratory sciences career within Pace’s Scientific Insourcing Solutions division.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology, 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience, and SDS authoring across US, EU and GB requirements. Proficiency with Excel, Teams, and 3E Generate is needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as chemistry or biology.
  • 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience.
  • 3+ years of SDS authoring experience.
  • SDS Authoring experience using 3E Generate.
  • Experience authoring SDSs for U.S., EU, and GB requirements (with labels).
  • Substance-level data cleansing and data quality work.
  • Strong understanding of global SDS/regulatory requirements and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Author SDSs in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
  • Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
  • Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
  • Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.
  • Works in computer applications and systems related to the work: Excel, Teams, 3E Generate.
  • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers.
