Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in NJ seeks an SDS author to transform data for the safe transport of materials domestically and internationally. You’ll prepare Safety Data Sheets and manage regulatory forms and information to support customers.

A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or a related field plus 3+ years’ chemical regulatory and SDS authoring experience is required. Proficiency with 3E Generate, Excel and Teams, plus strong attention to detail, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience.
• 3+ years of SDS authoring experience.
• SDS Authoring experience using 3E Generate.
• Experience authoring SDSs for U.S., EU, and Great Britain (GB) requirements (with labels).
• Some substance-level data cleansing and data quality work.
• Strong understanding of global SDS/regulatory requirements and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
• Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

Join us as a SDS author, where you’ll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.

This position is primarily responsible for the transformation of data to be used for the safe transport of materials and goods both domestically and internationally.

Compensation: $25.00 - 29.00 per hour
