Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking an SDS author in New Jersey. The role focuses on transforming data for safe transport of materials domestically and internationally. Strong emphasis on SDS authoring, regulatory compliance, and data quality, with training provided.

You will use 3E Generate, Excel and Teams in daily work, contributing to a high standards-driven laboratory science environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as chemistry or biology.
• 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience required.
• 3+ years of SDS authoring experience required.
• Experience authoring SDSs for US, EU, and GB requirements (with labels).
• Data cleansing and data quality work.

Responsibilities

• Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
• Completes standard regulatory forms, documents and databases.
• Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
• Reviews regulatory information for accuracy and completeness.
• Uses Excel, Teams and 3E Generate for data tasks.
• Contributes to team efficiency and customer service.

Join us as a SDS author, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.

This position is primarily responsible for the transformationof data to be used for the safe transport of materials and goods both domestically and internationally.

Compensation: $25.00 - 29.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
• Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
• Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
• Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.
• Works in computer applications and systems related to the work:
  • Excel
  • Teams
  • 3E Generate
• Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
• Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience, required
• 3+ years of SDS authoring experience, required
• SDS Authoring experience using 3E Generate
• Experience authoring SDSs forU.S., EU, and Great Britain (GB)requirements (with labels)
• Somesubstance-level data cleansing and data quality work
• Strong understanding of global SDS/regulatory requirements and attention to detail
