Archer, in collaboration with Defense Unicorns, seeks a Software Engineer to own the assessment, hardening, testing, and modernization of a government-provided SDN baseline. You will work on a Navy-forward engineering team, integrating code across platforms, building secure release workflows, and delivering a sustainment-focused software baseline for evolving mission requirements.

You will debug across application, Linux, and network boundaries, leverage AI tools for remediation, and mentor

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of software-engineering experience.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and networking knowledge.
• Experience with secure software development and remediation.
• Strong testing discipline across multiple test types.
• Experience with containers, version control, and CI/CD.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical assessment of an SDN codebase and its dependencies.
• Design secure, maintainable changes to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for hardening and modernization.
• Institute AI-enabled tooling to support codebase maintenance.
• Debug behavior across application, Linux, and network boundaries.
• Collaborate on CI/CD, packaging, deployment workflows, and security scanning.
• Support validation, demonstrations, and regression testing.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in reviews.
