Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Defense Unicorns, seeks a Technical Implementation Engineer for Commercial Cyber Operations. You will perform hands-on systems work across diverse customer environments, implementing required controls under guidance from a senior engineer.

Responsibilities include configuring identity, device, and network protections, testing changes, documenting runbooks, and creating automation. Travel up to 25% may apply; CUI access and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on IT environment administration and security experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, and Google Workspace.
• MDM/UEM across multiple platforms, including Jamf and Intune.
• Windows and macOS support; iOS/Android experience preferred.
• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, identity, logging, and backups.
• Ability to document work clearly and communicate with customers and teams.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• US citizenship with CUI access.

Responsibilities

• Configure and secure Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, Google Workspace, and related systems.
• Deploy and operate endpoint-management across Jamf and Microsoft Intune.
• Implement identity, MFA, permissions, endpoint security, logging, vulnerability management, patching, backup and recovery controls.
• Support Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, networks, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and secure remote access.
• Troubleshoot issues with customers, service providers, and internal teams.
• Test changes and produce configuration records, diagrams, runbooks.
• Complete assigned work on schedule and raise risks early.
• Help turn repeatable work into checklists, scripts, and automation.
