Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Software Development Engineer for the Software Defined Network (SDN) controller of the LEO system. This role designs and builds a scalable, high-throughput network core supporting satellite and terrestrial components.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a modern, scalable, low-latency network architecture.
• Implement highly available satellite topology management.
• Develop software that drives control plane operation on physical and virtual nodes.
• Define and automate software development, testing, and maintenance processes.
• Provide operational excellence for control plane services and tooling.
