Job summary

Liberty Mutual Group's Global Surety Actuarial Pricing team seeks an experienced actuary to own the SDI pricing model, run and enhance the pricing tool, and shape pricing decisions in partnership with underwriting leadership.

You will perform complex SDI analyses, support annual reinsurance renewals, and mentor peers while collaborating with analytics teams across Surety and GRS to ensure strong pricing and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• ACAS/FCAS or ASA/FSA designation preferred or comparable with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant actuarial experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the SDI pricing model — run, maintain, and improve the SDI pricing tool.
• Perform complex analyses for the SDI segment to inform pricing decisions.
• Support the annual SDI reinsurance renewal process with analyses and insights.
• Contribute to broader Surety projects and analytics across the portfolio.
• Serve as actuarial advisor to the SDI underwriting organization and collaborate with leadership.
• Collaborate with peer analytical teams to ensure high-quality pricing and reporting.
