Overview

Role: SDET - front end test automation for native mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web platforms.

SDET with hands on experience in front end test automation for native mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web platforms. Expertise in automation tools and frameworks, backend API testing, AI testing tools and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications
• Implement test automation using Selenium, WebdriverIO and BrowserStack for cross-platform testing
• Develop and execute automated tests for native mobile apps using tools like Appium, Javascript, CUCUMBER(BDD)
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend services
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA engineers to define test strategies, ensure test coverage and request testdata
• Analyse test results, identify root causes and report bugs with detailed documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Selenium, WebdriverIO and mobile automation tools (e.g. Appium)
• Experience with Android and iOS automation or Web automation
• Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar cloud-based Simulator testing platforms
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using Postman for API testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git and version control systems
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
