Job summary

TechDigital Group in McLean, VA seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber with TypeScript and Java.

You will execute E2E, functional and integration tests across frontend and backend, validate UI and API, integrate with Jenkins/Maven pipelines, and perform SQL validation (DB2, PostgreSQL) in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with UI test automation using Playwright and Selenium.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Java for test scripts.
• Experience with Cucumber for BDD.
• Familiar with REST Assured and Maven/Jenkins in CI/CD.
• Backend and database validation skills with SQL (DB2, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and TypeScript
• Execute end-to-end (E2E), functional, and integration testing across frontend and backend systems
• Develop and run automated test scripts for UI and API validation
• Integrate automation suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven)
• Perform backend and database validation using SQL (DB2, PostgreSQL)
