Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead automation development, execution, and maintenance of automated tests across the delivery lifecycle. The role emphasizes privacy and security considerations while validating software functionality.

You will design and maintain automated test scripts, contribute to the automation framework, and partner with teams to ensure quality from requirements through release within an on-site, Tampa-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong automation testing expertise.
• Experience with API testing using Rest Assured or Karate.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation in delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Apply software testing methodologies and tools across projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to the automation framework design and enhancements.
• Maintain traceability from user stories to test cases and scripts.
• Identify dependencies and data/environment requirements.
• Collaborate with DTCC teams to ensure quality and security requirements.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps.
