Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) to own automation and QA efforts. You will design deterministic test cycles, implement comprehensive test plans, and act as a SME for automation, guiding peers to improve quality and efficiency across ZoomInfo products.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, collaboration with senior stakeholders, and a strong coding focus to embed validation into software. This is a hybrid role in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SDET role.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SDLC/ALC.
• Proficient with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Pact, Cypress or equivalent.
• Experience testing complex systems and end-to-end scenarios.
• Strong ability to write test specifications.
• Passion for coding and building testable software.
• Understanding of multi-tier architectures and testing strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Automation Expertise: Design and maintain scalable automation suites; expand coverage and share best practices.
• Test Strategy & Design: Create comprehensive test plans across layers of the test pyramid; adapt testing approaches for efficiency.
• Problem Solving & Quality Assurance: Apply QA principles to resolve complex issues and mitigate risks affecting customer trust.
• Data Analysis: Use metrics to track quality, identify root causes, and drive improvements.
• Collaboration & Communication: Align automation and QA initiatives with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
