Job summary

LiveView Technologies in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET I) to join the Software Quality team. You will contribute to automated frameworks, execute advanced test strategies, and help ensure the reliability of our AI-driven site technology.

This role sits in-office at our Utah headquarters, collaborating with a world-class engineering team to scale testing across our platform while embracing rapid growth and evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical Foundation: 1–3 years of coding, test planning, and debugging in a software environment.
• Automation Expertise: hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, or Pytest.
• Language Proficiency: Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Lifecycle Knowledge: CI/CD and GitHub Actions integration.
• Analytical Mindset: proactive problem-solving beyond bug hunting.
• Growth-Oriented: eager to learn new technologies in AI/IoT space.
• Communication: ability to convey risks to engineers and stakeholders.
• Bonus Points: AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Appium, or hardware-software testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and scale automated test frameworks to enable high-velocity delivery.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases validating complex system behavior.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test requirements early.
• Document, track, and drive rapid resolution of defects across teams.
• Advocate for test automation best practices and modern tooling.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot failures for continuous improvement.
• Monitor emerging testing technologies, including hardware/software integration.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a high-growth environment to preserve quality.
