Modivcare seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Denver team. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests, collaborating with developers to fix defects and contributing to CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality healthcare software.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field, strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber), and API/database testing.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 0+ years of experience in software testing or SDET role.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD).
• Experience with CI/CD processes and test automation.
• Experience with mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

If so, this opportunity may be the right fit for you!This position is responsible for developing software solutions to test applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of qualityThis role…· Develops and maintains automated test scripts using established frameworks and tools.· Collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues.· Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.· Reviews and analyzes system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business requirements.· Executes test cases (manual or automated) and analyzes results.· Identifies, records, and tracks bugs and defects in the software.· Liaises with internal teams to identify system requirements.· Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.· Coordinates with geographically distributed teams.· Use approved AI-assisted tools to support coding/scripting, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, technical research, and related work to improve the quality and speed of deliverables. Review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure they meet company standards for security, privacy, quality, accuracy, and responsible use. Support the adoption and expansion of AI technologies by evaluating tools, new uses and processes while providing constructive feedback.
