Job summary

Transition Technologies PSC in New York is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to develop and maintain automated test suites, perform functional, integration, and UI/API testing, and verify defects within an Agile team.

You will automate UI and API tests, analyze results, and contribute to improving test automation frameworks while supporting CI/CD processes. The role requires hands-on Selenium/WebDriver and Java experience and strong SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with API test automation using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Experience working with Jira, Xray, or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience creating testing documentation and analyzing requirements.
