Job summary

LeoTechnologies in the United States seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to shape and execute our automated testing strategy. Lead end-to-end tests across UI and API layers and collaborate with developers and AI agents to ensure quality from design through release.

The role emphasizes advancing automation, maintaining scalable systems, validating releases, debugging complex issues, and championing quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of work experience in a similar position or product development.
• Requires a bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, TestCafe, or Cypress and/or similar testing tools.
• Hands-on experience with Black-, Gray-, White-Box testing at component and integration levels (DB, API, UI).
• Experience creating, maintaining, and improving hybrid automated e2e UI+API tests.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and Test Management Systems (Xray, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Experience with assistive AI development tools (Claude, Copilot).
• Strong understanding of SDLC with focus on quality from design to release.
• Integrity and dedication to mission-critical applications.
• Experience with SSH terminal is a plus.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will help define and drive our automated test efforts and

keep our platform running smoothly, with key responsibilities including:

• Advancing automation efforts
• Building and maintaining highly available systems across various production environments
• Validating software releases
• Debugging complex issues and performance problems throughout the stack
• Helping to ensure that end users have a bug-free experience
• Working closely with development teams and AI agents to help discover, triage, and debug issues, and consult on testing requirements
• Champion Quality throughout our Organization and its deliverables

Requirements

WHAT WE VALUE

• Requires a bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of Playwright, WebdriverIO, TestCafe, or Cypress, and/or other similar
• Working experience with Black-, Gray-, and White-Box testing approaches at the component and integration testing levels (DB, API, and UI)
• Experience creating, maintaining, and improving hybrid automated e2e UI+API tests
• Experience optimizing and reviewing complex test code, including from other team members
• Hands-on experience with using assistive AI development tools, harnesses, Commands, SKILLs, etc. to effectively leverage them in the QA Engineering role and duties
• A good understanding of, and working experience with, the software development lifecycle and processes, including development, testing, and deployment
• Able to own software product / feature quality through requirements, design, implementation, release, and support
• Familiar with CI/CD tools
• Familiar with Test Management Systems (Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.)
• Software Engineering background a strong plus.
• Experience with SSH terminal is a big plus
