Job summary

Kardow is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in the United States to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for Web/API/Batch. You will collaborate with SMEs and customers to review test plans and ensure quality across releases.

Responsibilities include building automated test frameworks, writing clean TypeScript and Python code using Playwright and Selenium, enabling CI/CD in Concourse, and generating actionable bug reports in Jira while mentoring teammates

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# and at least one modern JS framework (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Hands-on testing with Selenium, Playwright, TestNG/JUnit/PyTest and REST API testing.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD (Concourse/Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and test tooling.
• Database knowledge (SQL, Postgres, MS SQL, BigQuery) and API testing skills.
• AI-assisted testing, prompt engineering, synthetic data/ROI focus and Jira/Confluence usage.

• Monitor test coverage and quality metrics in Confluence and Other testing result matrix
