Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Tax and Account Compliance Tech team in Seattle, WA. You will design and build distributed, data-centric systems that scale with Amazon's growth and ensure compliant, trusted processes for sellers and customers.

You will work on extensible designs, verifications triggers, and reusable decision storage, delivering high availability, low latency services with strong code quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software extensible to different use cases, products and geographies with minimal incremental effort.
• Trigger verifications under applicable policies.
• Store verification decisions for reuse to reduce duplicative checks.
• Make software vendible to any authorized user via API.
