Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a talented front-end engineer to design and build observability interfaces for satellite and terrestrial networks. You will collaborate with software engineers, scientists, and operations to deliver secure, scalable web experiences that help diagnose and monitor a global telecom service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship front-end/web/mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (OOP design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving).
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to designing and delivering modern, scalable user interfaces for monitoring and diagnosing satellite constellations network issues.
• Work with peer teams and customers to design and develop visualization solutions that fulfill business needs.
• Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to deliver highly-available solutions.
• Build and contribute to reusable UI components and design-system patterns that keep the experience consistent across surfaces.
• Own the end-to-end quality of the features you deliver: write unit, component, and integration tests, and validate behavior across browsers and devices.
• Participate actively in code and design reviews, and contribute to technical design discussions within your team.
• Provide operational support for your team's services, helping identify and resolve the root cause of issues.
