Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the Inbound team within Amazon Fulfillment Technologies. You will design, develop, and maintain large-scale, distributed systems that optimize fulfillment processes and interface with robots and conveyors used by thousands of associates.

The role requires strong CS fundamentals, 3+ years of professional software development, and proficiency in at least one OO language such as C/C++ or Java.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver software and automated solutions for Amazon fulfillment systems.
• Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered software applications.
