Job summary

Amazon Financial Technology Team is seeking a results-oriented Software Development Engineer II to work on the FinTech Entity Data Service. You will design and develop scalable services that support global financial transactions using AWS cloud services and best practices.

You will own your systems end-to-end, collaborate with SDEs and TPMs, and contribute to high-performance, globally distributed platforms used by hundreds of millions of customers.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Define high level and low level design for software solutions using the latest AWS technology in a large distributed environment.
Take the lead on defining and implementing engineering best practices and using data to define and improve operational best practices.
Help drive the architecture and technology choices for FinTech accounting products.
Design, develop and deploy medium to large software solutions for Amazon accounting needs.
