Job summary

Amazon Financial Technology Team is seeking a results-oriented Software Development Engineer to help build distributed, scalable financial systems on AWS. You will own your service end to end and impact hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.

You will learn to design, implement and test highly scalable solutions using AWS, work in agile projects, and collaborate with SDEs, TPMs and customers to deliver software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Define high level and low level design for software solutions using the latest AWS technology in a large distributed environment.
• Lead engineering best practices and use data to define and improve operational best practices.
• Help drive the architecture and technology choices for FinTech accounting products.
• Design, develop and deploy medium to large software solutions for Amazon accounting needs.
• Raise the bar on code quality, including security, readability, consistency, maintainability.
