Amazon seeks a Software Development Engineer II for the Vulnerability Management Service (AVMS) in Seattle, WA or Austin, TX. You will design and build scalable data services, drive innovation across the AWS ecosystem, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

Your day includes owning full lifecycle from roadmap to implementation, learning new technologies, and contributing to a diverse security-focused team that protects customers globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of systems.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build big data services that scale for millions of users and systems.
• Drive innovation in the Amazon/AWS ecosystem and Think Big.
• Learn technologies and architectures; ensure correct solutions (Java, Python, Big Data, Microservices).
• Solve complex problems across teams and organizations.
• Own solutions from roadmap to architecture to implementation and iteration.
