Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer focused on Cryptography and Identity Management. You will design and build scalable security systems, work with both internal and external customers, and own features end-to-end in a fast-paced cloud environment.

You will dive deep into complex problems, mentor teammates, and contribute to the security of AWS services used by global customers. Security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Write and review high-quality code for cryptography and identity management services.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud features.
• Own end-to-end delivery, including design, deployment, and on-call support.
