Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Systems Development Engineer to join the Cryptography and Identity systems team, working with customers to execute projects and resolve issues while advancing secure, scalable cloud services.

You will collaborate with world-class engineers on challenging, high-impact problems, contributing to design, operation, and continuous improvement of AWS security infrastructure across globally distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above, or CND (Certified Network Defender) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
