Serco Inc. seeks a senior systems engineer to support Navy programs, focusing on SCS and HMCCS integration for the COLUMBIA and DREADNOUGHT classes. The role requires a DoW Secret clearance and strong engineering background.

The position entails executing full system engineering processes, managing risks, and coordinating with NAVSEA, SSP, UK MoD, and Naval Warfare Centers to meet milestones in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management skills and ability to multitask.
• Proven interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Report to SIT Lead and the Forward Project Officer.
• Support design and integration of SCS/HMCCS per Ship Building Specifications.
• Lead or support System Engineering for Whole Boat and HMCCS milestones.
• Facilitate SIT meetings and decisionmaking with NAVSEA/SSP/UK MoD.
• Manage integration, testing and delivery milestones for Columbia and Dreadnought classes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Collaborate with other SITs to resolve interfaces and integration.
• Resolve emergent issues with PMS397 Leadership and DoD stakeholders.
• Develop engineering staff and budgeting through TPS as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
