Job summary

A&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking aDevSecOps Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly to join our team in Virginia. The role requires expertise in cloud and systems architecture, DevOps tooling, and secure development practices to support our federal IT programs.

You will lead automation, testing, and integration initiatives, leveraging Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools. Strong documentation and Agile methods are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience with CI/CD, test automation and/or DevSecOps on iterative development projects.
• Familiar with customer system security requirements and processes.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly is required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead total-system architecture planning for cloud and on-prem environments (AWS preferred, others valuable).
• Engineer DevOps pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code with Jira story decomposition.
• Develop integration interfaces and automation using Python, PowerShell, Groovy; work with APIs and gateways.
• Configure virtualization and container platforms (Kubernetes/Rancher) and monitor with Grafana/Splunk.

We are actively seeking DevSecOps Engineers candidates with 10 years of relevant experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), test automation and/or DevSecOps on iterative development projects and are familiar with customer system security requirements and processes.

Must have an TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance to be considered.

Required Experience Include

• Cloud & Systems Architecture: Experience leading a total-system perspective, with strong understanding of cloud services, infrastructure, security, dependencies, and system design; AWS preferred, with Azure and other cloud platforms (GCP, Oracle, IBM) also valuable.
• Systems Engineering & Testing: Proven experience with system testing, validation, troubleshooting, solution development, and creating/maintaining robust test plans and system components.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Active Directory, IAM/IdAM, and LDAP, including the ability to decompose technical work into actionable Jira stories.
• Integration & Development: Experience developing integration interfaces and automation using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy; familiarity with APIs, API gateways, and service catalogs.
• Containers & Virtualization: Experience with Kubernetes/Rancher, virtualized applications, application streaming/layering, and monitoring/instrumentation using Grafana and Splunk.
• Enterprise Platforms: Experience with SharePoint administration/system engineering and ServiceNow, including cloud solution optimization.
• Systems Engineering Frameworks: Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
• At a minimum, meet DOD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
• Strong documentation skills and familiar with Agile Methodologies
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools
• Experience with ServiceNow and Cloud solution optimization
• Experience configuring and instrumenting Virtualization tools (Grafana, Splunk)
• Other Cloud experience (Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)
• Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques
