Job summary

VTG Defense in Chantilly, VA seeks a Scrum Master / Systems Engineer to support Agile development while providing end-to-end project management and systems engineering across the project lifecycle.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage backlogs with Product Owners, coordinate with TPMs and Release Managers, and ensure timely delivery of complex hardware-software solutions, including COTS integration. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coordinating with Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with Product Owners to maintain and manage product backlogs.
• Identify and remove obstacles that hinder sprint execution.
• Keep the Technical Project Manager informed of status, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate with the Release Manager to maintain project plans and roadmaps.
• Provide end-to-end project management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for systems and subsystems.
• Support solutions using internally developed technologies and COTS products.
• Apply a total systems perspective when evaluating solutions.
• Develop understanding of dependencies across hardware and software.
• Coordinate with team members to implement effective solutions.
