Job description

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master / Product Owner / Manager to support our client Technology organization. This is a newly created role and a long-term contract opportunity with full remote flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background (preferably in development or engineering) and experience in Product Ownership and/or Scrum Master responsibilities. This individual will play a crucial role in driving agile processes, managing project delivery, and interfacing with executive leadership.

Scrum Leadership & Agile Execution

• Lead daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Drive agile best practices to ensure efficient project delivery
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to remove roadblocks

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Conduct stakeholder meetings and provide regular updates to leadership
• Maintain and track project delivery schedules
• Present updates to executive leadership, including AVPs and VPs
• Ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical teams

Technical & Cloud Expertise (Preferred)

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a huge plus
• Ideal candidates have managed GCP projects or have a technical background before transitioning into Scrum/Product roles

Budget & Funding Oversight

• Support budget tracking and funding allocation using Excel
• Ensure financial transparency and assist in monitoring spending

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Program Manager role
• Experience leading large-scale technical projects
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks
• Ability to manage project funding and budgeting using Excel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Background in software development or engineering
• Previous experience managing GCP-related projects
